NEWS FROM THE FARM --  We've had lots of changes on the Farm! Shepherd Joy began working as a veterinary technician at a local small animal clinic in the Summer, 2008. Tim accepted a job working third shift after being unemployed for eight months. Bekah and Isaac transitioned from home schooling to public school and are doing great! Juggling full time work, being a mom to two active teens, running the household and managing the Farm keep her busy and have caused us to make some changes in our Farm's offerings and focus!

Because of the change to full time work, the farm is not open for visits at this time. We will participate in the CFSA Farm Tour in September. Check back for updated information.

Come see us at the Creedmoor Farmer's Market, Saturday mornings,  April 18 - November 21, 8 am to 1pm. Our offerings will include goat milk soap (natural and scented), chicken and duck eggs (great for baking & eating), wool (raw and washed), hand spun yarns, hand knit & hand woven items (adult and child-sized shawls woven on a triangle loom).

New Arrivals -- Wilma & Denali - Nubian does from Humbug Farm's Mooning Goat Dairy. Both were bred for 2009 kids.

***Wilma kidded 1/23/09 -- one doe Mooning Goat Starlight, one buck Mooning Goat Edward (for sale). Both reddish brown and adorable!

***Denali kidded 1/30/09 -- two does -- chocolate brown Mooning Goat Fudge, cinnamon brown with white spots Mooning Goat Fiesta!

We've started milking and making soap for 2009 sales.  Our goat milk soaps are made with food grade ingredients and cosmetic grade fragrance oils. For a list of available soap scents, please check our Goat Milk Soap For Sale page.

LAMBS FOR SALE - with the arrival of dairy goats, we decided not to breed sheep this year. We are consulting with Perfect Spot Farm about a Jacob ram lamb for 2010 Jacob lambs and are considering two potential herd sires.

Fiber/Fleece For Sale. We will do our Spring shearing in March and will be posting fleece details soon.
